How do we keep our hearts soft so we can feel aliveness and steady so we can face a world that will break our hearts open over and over again?
Living, parenting, and caregiving through our times of great change and grief requires our ancient tools of meaning-making: creative expression through storytelling, myth, movement, music, art, attuning to the natural world and perhaps most importantly, we need each other, we need intergenerational circles to hold us as we make our way through the dark.
I deeply curious about how gathering, dreaming with the earth, myths and art making can help us build trust in ourselves, each other and the web of life. As a teacher for over 10 years, I am continuously amazed at what happens when we gather to learn together. The heart of my work is connection and culture-building that moves us towards kinship, reciprocity and intergenerational sharing.
